Twin Bridge Campground
Situated on the outskirts of Chambersburg, PA, Twin Bridge Campground stands as one of our initial undertakings. Over the sprawling 33 acres and 168 campsites, we have implemented Wi-Fi connectivity, and the park is continually expanding. Employing Ubiquiti at the core, the network comprises nine towers equipped with Mikrotik APs to seamlessly broadcast Wi-Fi to the guests. Interconnecting all towers are 5GHz and 60GHz Ubiquiti wireless bridges, including the latest Wave Gear. Boasting numerous positive reviews, guests are delighted to stay connected during their weekend getaways from home. In addition to the Wi-Fi, we've implemented a Ubiquiti security camera system at the site. With capabilities ranging from 1080p and 2k to now featuring 360-degree footage, the owner expresses great satisfaction with the Ubiquiti Protect system, applauding its expandability, clarity, and user-friendly interface.
Pine Ridge Campground
Nestled in the heart of Michaux State Forest, atop a mountain at an elevation of 2050 feet and a mere 1500 feet from the Appalachian Trail, this campground is a unique and tranquil property, distanced from any cell tower but conveniently connected via Fiber. We've dedicated significant effort to enhancing the park's Wi-Fi, upon which guests heavily depend for communication and entertainment. Employing Cambium Wi-Fi 6 APs, we've ensured comprehensive coverage throughout the entire property, allowing guests to stay connected even while exploring the trails around the camp. Fiber feeds every tower, except for two, where 60GHz Mikrotik Point-to-Point bridges maintain optimal speed without any reduction.
Shippensburg Fair Grounds
The Shippensburg Fair grounds not only hosts its annual fair every July but also accommodates various entertainment venues and associations. Since the cable internet was only available in the main office, we devised a 60Ghz Point-to-Point system to link the main exhibit buildings back to the office. In each out-building, we installed a sealed enclosure containing a Ubiquity switch and AP(s). This setup offers high-speed Wi-Fi 6 access to vendors staff, and enabling the live streaming of auctions.
Shady Grove Campground
Nestled within this picturesque campground, adorned with a sizable store and a serene pond, the initial cable TV setup spanned the entire site until the cable company terminated all TV contracts. Despite Wi-Fi installation in previous years, the former IT personnel lacked the expertise to properly design and install an outdoor Wi-Fi system. To address this, we implemented Mikrotik 60GHz Point-to-Point technology throughout the entire park, interconnecting with Cambium Wi-Fi 6 APs. Leveraging existing telephone poles, we constructed "cell" towers to ensure extensive coverage for both long and short ranges, catering to the streaming needs of the guests. Additionally, at the park's request, we installed a Ubiquiti Protect camera system featuring 2K and 4K cameras, providing the office staff and owners with comprehensive surveillance capabilities.
Pocono Valley Resorts
Pocono Valley Resorts is not just a summer camp for children; it also caters to corporate events, weddings, and private getaways. Currently, we are embarking on a new project aimed at upgrading the existing network and VOIP system. As part of this initiative, we plan to install point-to-point wireless bridges, connecting various buildings across the property. This upgrade will facilitate seamless communication via VOIP among camp staff and enable broadcasting over the network through a new PA loudspeakers. Additionally, the revamped network will be designed to accommodate future expansions, including Wi-Fi enhancements and the integration of security cameras, ensuring adaptability as the property evolves.
